A year later, I photographed my first wedding. I had no idea what I was doing, only that I was meant to be there. I’ll never forget the bride walking toward her groom, his tears falling the moment he turned to see her. I cried right alongside them, camera in hand, realizing I had found my calling.
Seven years and countless weddings later, I still get the same goosebumps. For me, this isn’t just about photographs - it’s about honoring the emotions, the in-between moments, and the stories that will be remembered for generations.

Seven years ago, while working as an Interior Designer, I felt such anxiety I couldn’t shake. I dreamed of a life where work didn’t feel like work - where I could pour my heart into something I truly loved. One day I told my husband, “I think I want to be a photographer.” He laughed, half-expecting it to be another one of a hobby of mine - I tend to pick up many - but for some reason, he trusted me. That same week, we went to Best Buy, and he bought me my first camera. An act of faith I’ll never forget, especially when we didn’t have much to spare.

Story time
My childhood wasn’t the easiest - my parents divorced early, and losing my dad as a young adult was especially tough. Life’s challenges are inevitable, but photographs let us relive the joy and beauty of past seasons. After his passing, I discovered my dad’s deep love for photography through the pictures he took and the film cameras he collected. Though he never fully pursued it, his eye was that of a documentary photographer. Finding his work opened a new world for me. When I picked up a camera, I felt connected to him - as if, even in his absence, we were closer than ever.
